     The mission of the Piano Technicians Guild is to promote the highest possible standards of piano service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.

  

  The Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) is a trade association with membership open to anyone with a professional or avocational interest in piano technology. However, the title of Registered Piano Technician must be earned by passing a series of rigorous examinations. PTG members who have not passed the RPT examinations may avail themselves of PTG's extensive educational offerings in preparation for their taking the RPT exams, and may advertise their PTG memberships.

Bring outdoor games(Frisbee, Croquet, etc) and musical instruments.



   1. We have located the library"and are in the process of getting it inventoried. It should be available by our next meeting in September.
   2. We are working on some ideas to help educate the public about the PTG in general and RPT's specifically. We should have some concrete proposals by the September meeting.
   3. We are planning a PTG cookout and get together for late August. More information to come!
